Vault Group I: Direct vaults (stoops, Hechts, etc)

Hecht - Men's Code Of Points - 7.6 Start value

  • A high amplitude and distance in the postflight is only possible in combination with a rather flat angle in the preflight.
  • The ideal hand placement is the center of the apparatus.
  • A fast support phase, at an angle of 15-20°, allows for the opening of the arm-body angle before the gymnast's shoulder pass vertical. Which allows for the proper postflight and landing techniques.
  • In postflight the body makes a slight "wave" movement, not angular, to a stand.
