  A Floor Exercise routine is composed predominantly of acrobatic elements combined with other gymnastic elements such as strength and balance parts, elements of flexibility, handstands, and choreographic combinations all forming a harmonious rythmic exercise which, during its maximum 70 second duration, is performed utilizing the entire floor exercise area (12m x 12m).

Round off back handspring Arabian Front - round off to a back handspring directly into an arabian front flip (jump backward with a ½ twist to a front flip).

  360° or 540° Russian wendeswing: A wendeswing is executed in a stretched position using the momentum generated from preceeding circles to enable the gymnast to pirouette (turn) in the same direction as his circles.

  II - Leaps, jumps, turns, and leg circle elements

  Forward salto with a full twist in stretched position

  III - Acrobatic elements forwards

  Double salto backward in stretched position

  IV - Acrobatic elements backwards

  Lou Yun - Double salto sidewards in a straddled position with a full twist

  V - Acrobatic elements sidewards or backward jumps with 1/2 turn to saltos forwards
