USAG Compulsory Class VII - Floor Exercise

  Compulsory routines are broken up into parts. Parts may consist of a single or sequence of skills. Regardless of the amount of skills in the part each part is worth the same, 1.0 of the Base Score of the routine. If the part is missing or unrecognizable the gymnast receives a 1.0 deduction from his Base Score. If he completes more than 50% of the part he receives 0.5 a deduction from his Base Score.

1. Run and hurdle to cartwheel

2. Side chassé to cartwheel with ¼ turn then close legs together at landing

3. Tucked backward roll to stand

4. With either leg step back with an 180° turn to Arabesque stand (2 sec. hold)

5. Close legs and fall to prone. While rising do a ½ turn (either direction) to rear support then lower to pike sit. Straddle legs

6. Lower to Pancake

7. Sit up facing A and close legs and rock back to Candlestick

8. Rock forward to a stand

9. Lift either leg while turning 90° then cartwheel and pivot 90° towards A at landing

10. Kick to handstand

11. Roll forward with staright arms and jump with a full turn (No stop between roll and turn)

executing their Floor Exercise routine
