Vaulting breakdown

Preflight
Body must be above horizontal at hand contact, and full extension of the body must be shown during preflight

Postflight
The center of gravity must rise after the hands
leave the horse.

Landing
2.0 - 2.5 meters = Bonus - +0.2
1.5 - 2.0 meters = Bonus - +0.1
1.0 - 1.5 meters = No deduction
0.5 - 1.0 meters = -0.2
less than 0.5 meters = -0.3

Stick Landing = Bonus - +0.1

USAG Compulsory Class VI - Vault

General Vaulting Rules

• Sidehorse or Vaulting table at any height.
• Either squat on, squat through, or handspring vault allowed.
• No zero vault except failure to contact (see below).

• Missed Vault Ruling
  For a zero vault as defined by FIG, allow a second attempt with a 1.0 deduction from the base score. If the gymnasts perfroms another zero vault as defined by FIG he receives a 0.0. There is no third attempt.
  The minimum score for any vault that contacts the horse is a 1.0.

• Deviation from the axis is as per FIG for all classes

Sidehorse:

Front Handspring - 9.7 Base Score + 0.3 Bonus = 10.0

Squat through - 9.2 Base Score + 0.3 Bonus = 9.5

Vaulting Table:

Squat on, straight jump off = 8.8
