Class V, VI, VII Swing/Height definitions:
Forward - The line from shoulders to feet with hollow body position.
Backward - The line from shoulders to feet with hollow (tight)
arch body position.
Class V and VI - Swings must show lift in the shoulders.

Compulsory Class VI - Rings
Compulsory routines are broken up into parts. Parts may consist of a single
or sequence of skills. Regardless of the amount of skills in the part
each part is worth the same, 1.0 of the Base Score of the routine. If
the part is missing or unrecognizable the gymnast receives a 1.0 deduction
from his Base Score. If he completes more than 50% of the part he receives
0.5 a deduction from his Base Score.
1. From
a straight arm hang with a false grip, muscle up to support (spotter
assistance allowed)
Bonus - no assistance by spotter +(0.2)
2. Straight body support with rings turned out (2 second hold)
3. Piked forward roll down to L hang (2 second hold) and lower
to straight body hang
4. Pull with bent arms and body to straight body inverted hang
(pull with straight arms and body allowed)
5. Pike and lower to German hang (2 second hold)
Bonus - from pike extend to back lever (2 second
hold) and continue +(0.2)
6. Pull to inverted hang
7. Cast forward to swing backward (at horizontal)
8. Swing forward (at horizontal)
9. Swing back ward to straight body inlocate
10. Swing backward (at horizontal)
11. Swing forward to back salto tucked (at ring height) |
