Class V and VI special performance criteria:
1. On all leg cuts, cutting legs must be at least horizontal.
2. On all stride swings, false scissors, and scissors, the top
leg must be at least horizontal.
3. All spindles must be initiated with support on right hand.

Compulsory Class VI - Pommel Horse and Mushroom
Compulsory routines are broken up into parts. Parts may consist of a single
or sequence of skills. Regardless of the amount of skills in the part
each part is worth the same, 1.0 of the Base Score of the routine. If
the part is missing or unrecognizable the gymnast receives a 1.0 deduction
from his Base Score. If he completes more than 50% of the part he receives
0.5 a deduction from his Base Score.
All Pommel Horse and Mushroom routines are written for clockwise
circles.
Mushroom
- Base Score of 4.6 (body stretched throughout routine)
1. Step to side and jump to 1 double leg circle
2. 1 double leg circle
3. Circle with 90° counter turn left to front support (¼
spindle)
4. Circle with 90° counter turn left to front support (¼
spindle)
5. 1 double leg circle
Bonus - from # 5 - 1 flaired circle to 1 double leg
circle +(0.2)
6. ½ double leg circle with 90° turn right to dismount
(flank dismount)
Pommel Horse - Base Score of 4.7
1. Jump to 2 or 3 straddle support swings
2. Cut left leg forward to right false scissor
3. Cut left leg forward to stride swing
4. Cut left leg backward
5. Cut right leg forward to left false scissor
Bonus - from # 4 - cut right leg forward to left
scissor to # 9 +(0.2)
6. Cut right leg forward to stride swing
7. Cut right leg backward
8. Cut left leg forkward
9. Cut right leg forward, legs join in front to a stand facing
