Compulsory Class V - Horizontal Bar
Compulsory routines are broken up into parts. Parts may consist of a single
or sequence of skills. Regardless of the amount of skills in the part
each part is worth the same, 1.0 of the Base Score of the routine. If
the part is missing or unrecognizable the gymnast receives a 1.0 deduction
from his Base Score. If he completes more than 50% of the part he receives
0.5 a deduction from his Base Score.
1. From
a hang in overgrip, pullover to support
2. Cast to free hip circle maintaining straight arms and a
hollow body position throughout (Horizontal at completion of cast
and free hip)
3. Tap swing forward (hollow - tight arch - hollow)
4. ½ turn to mixed grip maintaining straight arms and a
hollow body position throughout (Toes lead the turn)
5. Tap swing forward in mixed grip (hollow - tight arch - hollow)
6. Swing backward in mixed grip and change to overgrip at peak
of swing
7. Swing forward and kip to support (Momentary pause and/or
1 extra swing allowed)
8. Cast and swing forward to ¾ giant swing to support
Bonus - instead of pausing in # 7, kip to immediate
cast (the only way to achieve this bonus is to combine it with
the next bonus sequence) +(0.2)
Bonus - from bonus above or from # 7, 2 back giants
to # 8 (must be performed with less than 0.5 in deductions to receive
bonus) +(0.2)
9. Undershoot and swing backward (body hollow on undershoot)
10. Swing forward to a tuck or layout flyaway dismount (head
must be neutral at release of the bar) |
